Lynedoch Ave

This project is a new house completed in St Kilda East.

The back yard of the site has multiple 15m+ high Spotted Gum trees. These trees are beautiful and created a focal point for the design of the building. The living & kitchen area has a tapering ceiling that leans back to reveal the full height of these trees to the internal spaces.

The house itself highlights the beauty of spotted gum, having decks, windows, flooring and joinery all made from this timber.

This project is exceptionally detailed in all scales. It has large double glazed windows throughout, bespoke joinery & battens separating spaces, bedhead, lighting, even light switches - nothing was taken for granted, every aspect was purposefully designed.

This project was completed in my time as a Principal Architect at Ron Unger Architects.
