It is fundamental to use your hands, know how to cut, manipulate, and join materials in order to properly understand what can be created with them.

 

All of these projects have been created by hand by Maurie Novak some for himself, some for clients.

This is in some ways the most satisfying part of the business, in which there is a freedom to create smaller-scale products by hand that are one-offs which is so different from creating buildings.
